Can Ertugrul help PTV set a new YouTube world record?

Movie theaters may be shut down, concerts postponed and schools closed before summer, but TV is still here to distract us in these dark times.
All the series/movies provide a breather, a portal into a better time to come, or a challenge we’ve overcome. They’re an escape, and a way to confront the worst. They provide a sense of possibility, and glimpse into a world that’s become elusive.
It is no surprise that Turkish drama Dirilis Ertugrul has become an epic hit, not only in the Middle East but also in South Asia, being binge-watched by millions as they practice social distancing.
Recently, after Prime Minister Imran Khan recommended everyone to watch the series, PTV is impelling fans and followers to break a new world record.

Over Rs 99 billion spent on Diamer Bhasha dam project so far

ISLAMABAD – A sum of Rs 99.238 billion including Rs 93.9 billion for land acquisition on multi-purpose Diamer Bhasha dam project has already been spent so far. Sources told APP here that an amount of Rs 61 billion would be spent on the project during the current fiscal year. Giving the breakup, they said Rs 22 billion would be spent of resettlement while remaining Rs 39 billion would be utilized for construction related activities, they added. They said construction activities on main Diamer Bhasha dam and its allied structures would start during the current fiscal year 2019-20 while project would likely to be completed by March 2028.
