Khalil-ur-Rehman, Humayun Saeed planning to team up for show like 'Diriliş: Ertuğrul'

KARACHI - Pakistani controversial writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has announced that he is planning to write a drama like Turkish drama Diriliş: Ertuğrul. Khalil-ur-Rehman was recently invited in national television 'BOL News'’ talk show “Bas, Boht Hogaya” hosted by Kiran Naz. In the show, Kiran Naz talked about the success and central idea of the Turkish drama series ‘Diriliş: Ertuğrul’.

The writer of mere pas tum ho said that he has talked to Humayun Saeed and he is going to start writing a script like Diriliş: Ertuğrul. To his announcement, Kiran praised him in the show. Khalil also said that this is a higher time we should introduce such topics to our nation.
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar gave his opinion that Turkey has made the series in their national language whereas Pakistanis do not give importance to their national language Urdu. Secondly, he also said that the nation is tangled in the syllabus diversification. He said that we are stuck in typical Saas Bahu topics, so we do not pay attention to topics like Diriliş: Ertuğrul.

NCC meeting will decide future of lockdown this week

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Asad Umar on Sunday said the National Coordination Committee on Corona-virus would decide about the future course of lock-down after analysis and observations to be presented by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). The meeting would be held this week with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair, to decide the post-May, 9 scenarios in the country. CM Punjab opts to help artists facing financial crisis due to coronavirus lockdown

LAHORE - The Punjab government on Tuesday (yesterday) has decided to help artists facing a financial crisis due to corona-virus lock-down in the country. According to details, Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar said that Punjab government will financially assist 3,000 artists. Will provide Rs15,000 to Rs20,000 to the artists for their help, he added.
