Pak-Turk Maarif school increases fee despite govt order

RAWALPINDI – Pak-Turk Maarif International School Junior Branch Sixth Road Rawalpindi has increased the fee of each child from four to five thousand - brazenly flouting Punjab's government's 20 percent fee cut orders.
According to students, the school has also reduced the installments from 12 to 10 for the reason best known to them.The phenomenal increase has been made in the grab of shifting of child from one section to other.A number of parents talking to APP has asked the relevant authorities to take notice of the violation of Punjab orders and ensure implementation of 20 percent reduction in fee orders.
The also requested to take fee in 12 installments instead of 10.
Punjab government had directed private schools in the province to give 20 per cent concession in tuition fee in addition to collecting the fees of the following two months separately.

PAF gets first Hindu pilot. LAHORE - Pakistan Air Force, for the first in history, has selected a Hindu as a pilot in the country’s force. Rahul Dev has been recruited as a General Duty (GD) pilot officer in the PAF. The youth belongs to a Tharparkar, the largest district in Sindh province, where a large population of the Hindu community resides, reported local media on Monday. On this development, All Pakistan Hindu Panchayat Secretary Ravi Dawani expressed happiness over Dev’s appointment.
