PM Imran to participate in WEF’ meeting to discuss COVID-19 pandemic: FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan will participate in meeting to be organized under (COVID) Action Platform of World Economic Forum (WEF).
While chairing a video link meeting in Islamabad, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the Prime Minister will apprise the international community of Pakistan's viewpoint while discussing corona pandemic, situation in Occupied Kashmir, and his debt relief proposal for weaker economies of the world.
He said Pakistan is taking all out steps to stop the spread of corona pandemic in the country despite its limited resources.
FM Qureshi said that we have to control and limit the further spread of corona-virus disease and take steps to counter the economic crisis due to suspension of economic activities amid COVID-19 pandemic.

PAF gets first Hindu pilot

PAF gets first Hindu pilot. LAHORE - Pakistan Air Force, for the first in history, has selected a Hindu as a pilot in the country’s force. Rahul Dev has been recruited as a General Duty (GD) pilot officer in the PAF. The youth belongs to a Tharparkar, the largest district in Sindh province, where a large population of the Hindu community resides, reported local media on Monday. On this development, All Pakistan Hindu Panchayat Secretary Ravi Dawani expressed happiness over Dev’s appointment. He said many members of the minority community are serving in the civil service, army as well as the doctors. The minority leader further said that if the government continues to focus on the minorities, then in the coming days many Rahul Devs will be ready to serve the country.
